a few insights {photoaday}

imperfect: it’s said that you’re your own worst critic and I am no different. I’m learning to accept my flaws – inside & out – and put them in the proper perspective. physical imperfections are so easy to focus on and pick apart but they are what make us unique. accepting my imperfections and not let them affect my confidence has always been a struggle but growing in this area more and more. and my internal imperfections… selfishness, pride, jealousy, really too many others to name… those are the things that make me so very thankful for grace. so this is me… absolutely positively imperfect but embracing it with each passing day.

a fave photo you’ve ever taken: this was just a quick snapshot of my niece. she was so done with my camera in her face but she still wanted to ham it up.

team-up thursday: self portraits

This week’s theme was a pretty big challenge. I’m always the one behind the camera not in front of it! But I think our shots turned out pretty well and Erika is sporting her sleek new ‘do (gotta give a shout out to Ami – our fab hair stylist).
