wrapping up march photoaday

April is nearly half over and I’m FINALLY getting around to posting photos from March. I have no excuses. again. Just plain old lazy. :P

feet – toy – where you relax

feettoywhere you relax

if you know anything about me at all, you know I hate feet. And I mean H.A.T.E. They’re gross. And I don’t care who you are, they’re ugly. I think I love shoes so much because they cover them up :)

150/365 – 2010

* and the exhaustion sets in *

Kelsey & Eva both are sick and both were melting down after spending a little bit of time together. K konked out on the inflatable dog – it was so sad and so cute at the same time. Hope those kiddos get some rest & on the road to recovery!

117/365 – 2010

* picture spring: spring board (an ode to inspiration) *

Today’s prompt: Find a shot, that you love, that was captured by another photographer. Admire it, study it and get inspired. Use that shot as a springboard into shooting a specific subject matter, a unique angle, or using a similar processing technique. They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. Let the admiration you have spark your own unique creativity. Just remember to bring yourself into the process so the end result has some of what only you can bring to it.

So, I have this contact on Flickr: singlecupofcoffee that has photos that constantly amaze me. She’s taking daily shots of herself jumping through life. And the processing she does to her photos is stunning. I haven’t quite figured out the logistics of capturing myself jumping in a photo (working on it though) so I had this one of niece Eva trying to jump rope and decided to use it. And don’t you just love her expression?! Classic Eva.
