glory glory to ol' georgia

A couple of weekends ago I got a chance to go back to Athens and participate in the 2nd annual Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk. It was nice roaming around downtown and North Campus with my friend Erika and her hubby Ben. I was reminded of just how much I love Athens and that I don’t get to visit near enough. The weather was perfect and it was a great opportunity for me to work on taking scenery/detail photos about which I am totally clueless. We ate at The Grill before the walk and I was in heaven. The feta cheese dip and fries were as wonderful as I had remembered. And I was like a little kid at Christmas when I found out they would sell me a jar of the feta to take home!

I still have a lot to learn about taking photos of things other than people (and there’s a lot to learn there too) but I’ve posted a small handful of shots on my Flickr page that turned out OK.

Stacy – love this image. Great eye catching the arch in the background.
