paint, pottery and pandemonium

A few weeks ago, we took the big kids to one of those paint your own pottery studios. It was a great groupon deal and thought the kiddos would like it. They did. And we did. And we got some cool pieces in addition to the fun.

It started out with some pretty excited kiddos that got right to work…

and, one by one, they began to finish…

then some of them got bored…

(heed my warning: if you do this with kids, choose small items for yourselves because the kids are lightning fast and won’t want to wait while you perfectly paint your decorative whatnot. trust me.)

but throughout it all, they remained themselves
